The President of the Government meets with social stakeholders to tackle the labour market reform

05/02/2010. The President of the Government convened a meeting at La Moncloa Palace of business leaders and workers to inform them about the Government’s proposals on the labour market reform.

The Government regulates air traffic control services

05/02/2010. The Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree-Law regulating the provision of air traffic services, establishing the obligations of civil providers of these services and setting certain employment conditions for civil controllers.

The President of the Government guarantees Spain’s collaboration with the U.S. in the war on terrorism

The President of the Government concluded his visit to Washington with an address at a conference  organised by the Atlantic Council, where he set out his vision of security in the new century and guaranteed that Spain will collaborate with the United States in the war on terrorism. Previously, at the Chamber of Commerce, he encouraged American business leaders to invest in Spain.

04/02/2010. In his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, the President of the Government of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero defended values such as tolerance, freedom, understanding between peoples and respect for all options and beliefs.

04/02/2010. The President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, travelled to Washington to take part as a special guest in the 58th National Prayer Breakfast. He also attended a lunch-talk in the Chamber of Commerce in the US capital and gave a speech in the Atlantic Council.

Funeral in memory of Private John Felipe Romero killed in Afghanistan

03/02/2010. The funeral was held this morning in the El Bruch barracks in Barcelona in honour of Private John Felipe Romero Meneses, who died on Monday in Afghanistan after an anti-tank mine exploded also injuring six other members of the Spanish Army.
